This collection consists of official records of the New England Regional Branch of the War Production Board. Most of the records are forms, directives, orders, letters, inquiries, and procedure manuals, and they span the period 1941-1945. Much of the correspondence involves William A. Rossiter, who was the Chief Consultant of the Regional Priorities Department in Boston, Massachusetts. There is also a large amount of material relating to specific materials that were under regulated production during World War II.
